Vibrant and Colorful Wedding at McGovern Centennial Gardens at Hermann Park + The Crystal Ballroom at The Rice Hotel in Downtown Houston

Colorful garden scenery meets classic Downtown Houston vibes for Tracy + Sean’s McGovern Centennial Gardens Wedding.

I absolutely loved documenting these two and all of the love, emotions, and excitement surrounding them as they said their vows among the boxwoods in the garden at McGovern.

This day was filled with so much emotion and so many expressive moments with friends and family. It started with Tracy getting ready at SweenShots Studios with her gals and Sean and friends helping set up at McGovern. I loved documenting all the fun in the first part of the day with all the little first looks and adorable moments with Tracy and her girls. This was all followed by the cutest couples first look at the garden, private personal vows inside, and a heartfelt ceremony outside at McGovern’s Celebration Gardens. We were luckily able to avoid most of the rain that was dancing around us that day–a super lucky thing knowing Houston’s unpredictable weather!

After the ceremony we headed downtown to The Crystal Ballroom at the Rice Hotel for a traditional tea ceremony on the balcony and some hilarious games the couples had to perform. The dance floor was kicked off by the coolest choreographed dance by the couple. The guests totally kept that energy going on the dance floor all through the night until the cutest bubble exit. What a day!! It truly was the best.
